ICONFIT Chaga is a mushroom that grows on the stem of a birch tree. From the forests of Estonia! Chaga has antioxidant properties and is a superb immune system booster. Naturally, it mainly grows in the forests of Eastern Europe and Russia but it is also found in North America and it forms a black sterile conk on the trunk of the tree.

Chaga is exceptionally rich in B-complex vitamins, flavonoids, phenols, minerals and enzymes. Vitamins B1 and B12 help maintain a healthy nervous system. Vitamin B12 also promotes healthy skin. Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. In addition, it is one of the best sources of pantothenic acid – a vitamin that is vital for the proper functioning of the adrenal glands and the digestive system. Chaga helps flush out toxins from the body.

HOW TO USE: Mix 0.5–1 teaspoon of powder with hot water, tea or coffee. Let it steep for 5 minutes to get the maximum health benefits. The powder can also be added to breakfast foods, porridges, smoothies or yoghurts. To get the maximum health benefits, you should drink 2–3 cups of herbal tea per day for up to three weeks.
